He left early. Curry, Green, and Klay all need to be playing 40+ minutes for the Warriors.

I think choke is a simplistic way to say it (and tbh I did today) but there's some truth during an 18-0 run that you have the other team psychologically on the ropes. That's part of big runs/comebacks, one team emotionally lets down and gets mentally defeated which increases the total damage point-wise, call it what you want. Against a team like the Warriors it is so mentally defeating when your lead slips away. It's so hard for any team to develop a lead against the W's, then if it is suddenly gone it is so hard to push back in time because the weight of the work hits you. I definitely think panic at some level was involved for such a massive run to occur right out of halftime.

Warriors are missing their best player, and last night, their 3rd best had to leave early. No excuses.
I LOVE THIS NARRATIVE!
1. Top 3 Warriors players = Curry, Durant, Green. Then maybe Thompson.
2. Thompson didn’t leave “early”, he played 32 minutes. 3rd most for the Dubs last night.
But keep going my friend.

Your Cousins takes are consistently loopy. Looney might do 1 thing better than Cousins defensively. And certainly on offense he's just the sort of basic game roleplayer that a top defensive team has no trouble neutralizing. You know exactly what he can and cannot do.
Your love of cousins biases you to insane levels. Cousins is a serious defensive liability all that said I'm loving how much effort the guy is playing with and I'm seriously crossing my fingers he doesn't hurt himself.
Against most teams, Cousins turned out to be a liability record wise and Looney was surprisingly effective (relatively speaking). I thought it would be the same against Toronto, but I shouldn't have been surprised that the size GS needed made him particularly useful. What he lacks with speed and foul calls ended up being less significant than what he brought in size against Toronto specifically.

They also missed the technical when Curry come on to the court to celebrate plus goal tending by thompson on siakam. Add that it changes the outcome.
Nevertheless, Warriors turned on their A game third quarter raptors couldnt contain.

Somebody lost a bet.

The 2nd half was abysmal and the team can look to that 18-0 run if they want to know why they lost. The whistle evened out in the 2nd half, but the Raps blew it with extremely poor shooting in the 3rd Q.

But the first half lead would've been larger had refs not favored gsw. You need big cushion to account for gsw 3rd quarter . The refs took away that cushion

I get that, but the Raps played like dog chit and didn't deserve to win a game like that in the Finals.

Both team was like scoreless the last 4 mins, it was terrible. Warriors was pretty much was trying to give them the W but the Raptors couldn't buy a bucket.
