Even if one conceded the argument Pippen was the 2nd best player of the overall group (which is highly arguable and I think not true), the next like 3-5 players on the list are James teammates.

James:

Jordan:
Pippen
Rodman

To the point, look how well accomplished James teammates were before James. Not ring winners (outside of Wade), but well established stud NBA players. MJ's cast was only something because of him. Only argument against, is Rodman as one trick pony or Kukoc in his Euro play.

Completely False. Jordan had the better teammates by far. I get surprised when people don't know this.

MJ had 15 teammates make an All NBA or All Defensive selections.
LBJ had 7 teammates make an All NBA or All Defensive selection.

It's not close.

The MJ sexuals don't realize Mike had all of them together - on one team, with Phil Jackson and Jerry Krause.

Is 34k points greater than 30 ppg ffs?

On the subject of One-On-One, all of you old heads who claim to have watched basketball for multiple lifetimes, explain to me how a smaller, less athletic, weaker player wins in one-to-one without help D from Scottie & Dennis/Horace?

On offense, Lebron backs him down under the rim and finishes with either hand or just drives through with about a 100 lb extra on Mike. Michael will wriggle and squeak, but nothing much he can really do. No jumpers or any weak*ss BS. Just live at the rim and get 80-90% guaranteed without help defense.

On defense -
pre hand check era - Lebron hand checks him to the half court line(ooh did that hurt to think of)
post hand check era - swats his lame layup attempts disrespectfully. All Mike has left is the fadeaways. As great as that shot was, it's not yielding more than 50% on a good day(if you did in fact watch the games, and not some insecure docuseries), if that. Once he misses, it's OVER!! It's not close. Mike's losing like 21-4 or something like that. Lebron's gonna crush his balls and ego slowly and surgically.

I can imagine a few takes like "but Mike would never miss", "Mike's killer instinct / mental strength would prevail", "Mike will get that look in his eye", etc, but all of that is your glorified perception of the perfect human being that Mike was, far from the truth. Mike could / would do nothing more or less than what he did in his career.

Did I seriously just read 19 pages of GOAT conversation without a single mention of Jonas Jerebko?
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

How does that make them individually better though? you have to remember that these are players from completely different era.
Let me put it this way.

If you have Jordans teammates and Lebrons teammates in the same era playing exactly the same way they played throughout those seasons that each player were selected All NBA or All Defensive selection in, who do you think would get more in that scenario? The only ones on MJs side that would stand a chance would be Pippen and Rodman. Davis, Wade, Irving, Bosh, and Love are all more talented players than anyone Jordan ever played alongside. Those guys were all star athletes before Lebron ever played with them ffs. They were established with out him.

The only Jordan teammates that were established starting caliber players in the NBA without him was Robert Parish, Dennis Rodman and Ron Harper. All of which were past their primes (or close to it) by the time they came over to join Michael Jordan.

Let's face it. When it comes down to it Lebron Ball is a major reason why many great players that Lebron has played with's number went down when they played with him. They all came over and instantly became catch and shoot players within that Point Forward system of his where as with Jordan and the Bulls the whole triangle offense WAS the playmaker in itself. This giving more people opportunities to create plays for each other, and that's how they were able to accomplish so much like the 72 and 10 record, the two 3 peats, etc. They had the greatest player ever leading the way, but they also had the privilege of playing within one of the greatest offensive systems of all time which ended up helping Jordan along with them.

But since you want to take 3 game sample

You got me all aroused at the mention of the word 'facts', so let me respond.

Shaq, Kobe, T-Mac and KG didn't go to those Olympics. Lebron was a 20 year old who played for a total of 17 minutes in the 3 elimination games. Averaged 27-7-7 for the season in NBA though, closing the season with a .500+ record with that Cavs team.

Do you know where MJ was when he was 20? Sucking his mom's tits in NCAA averaging 20 ppg. Without Scottie, he has only had a .500 record twice - 2013-14 and 2015-16 with Charlotte Hornets. Even they suck since he became owner.

At 21, Lebron had 31-7-7 season @ 48% FG. MJ still sucking his mum's tits.

Feel like retiring for mental health issues like your supreme leader?

MJ in 1984, at the age of 20 won a gold medal with the US, leading the team's scoring.
He also had won an NCAA title by the age of 18.

Shaq, Kobe and KG didn't go in 2004??? And?
Neither Magic, Bird, Moses, Dr. J etc. went in 1984.
Duncan, Iverson, Marbury, Stoudemire, Marion along with his peers Melo, Wade went in 2004 though.

And 2 years later? In 2006?
What happened then? LeBron lost to this guy:

Image

It was only after Kobe decided to give a hand in 2008, that LeBron became a winner with TeamUSA.

And yes, the Hornets suck and MJ sucks as an owner.
And?

You guys look hopeless...

Hard to digest isn't it when the player attributes votes according to NBA followers are against you. I know it is quite tough for you to realise that the NBA exists way longer than your King has played in this leage. And that there was a guy who did everything even better i.e. has a 100% winning percentage in the NBA Finals, 10X scoring Champion in a tougher defensive era. Who for most of us NBA followers, according to the votes as well, is the true GOAT.
