He was drafted by Atlanta to be molded into a unique jumbo swing 3/D type. His measurables are elite. But he is just too inconsistent, especially with his shot. If your an elite talent, you can afford some inconsistencies. But as a 3/D type you need to be able to execute the few times the ball comes your way. He just cant, yet.
Still, a 6'8 lanky athletic SG/SF is always going to be in demand. Even if he flames out in ATL after 3 years (He gets at least 3 years there), I would expect him 2 more chances as teams love to buy low on guys like him.
But, ya, I think he has rich mans SG/SF version of DFS upside. Not really going to be elite or anything.
The G.M needs to be fired after that abysmal draft. It totally negated the good previous draft and has set the franchise back half a decade. What a waste
I know your a troll but Hunter has been really good. 2019 was basically the top-2 guys and then a huge talent leveling. Only guy in the rest of R1 that I would maybe take over Hunter is Herro. Might amend that soon to put Keldon Johnson as well, but too early.
