The old guard is making one final push. The first fight comes with Steph. The dude had 20 30 point games this year and his team went 15/5 in those games. He carried the team till Butler got there, and then went off even after that keeping the Warriors in the hunt.
Mitchell had 18 30 point games and his team went 13/5. That seems to be the fight for the last 1st team spot, and I would personally take Steph over Mitchell at this point. He started off the year and ended the year playing better basketball, and brought his team through more adversity. He's had like 10 ridiculous games this year, while DM hasn't had to showcase that too much outside of that crazy 2nd half against Boston.
LeBro is making it, but people have been sleeing on Harden all year. Dude is still one of the best players in league history at carrying a team in the regular season, showed it again this year. He played practically every game this season, averaging 23//6/9 for the year, and 25/6/9/1.5/1 in 26 games since he AS break, which the Clips have been one of the best teams in the league. He's certainly deserving of a spot over some of these 2nd option guards like Jwill and Garland...
1. Jokic, Giannis, Tatum, SGA, Steph
2. Mitchell, JJJ, Torwns. Ant, Cade
3. LeBron, Brunson, Harden, Mobley, Hali
I would be shocked if JWill made it over guys that are legit #1's who carried teams, and I think this year with 2ndary bigs like Twons, JJJ, and Mobley being locks it's more competative than usual. If you disagree with my Harden take, that is fine, my next men up for 3rd team would be Trae, Williams, or Sabonis.
It's a weird year with main guys like Luka, AD, and Joel not being in the mix, and other contenders like Damee, Brown, Jimmy, Paolo and Wemby not being in it either for reasons.
