Pelicans seem like the natural landing spot for him. You can pair Ja and Zion for the 20ish games a year they might actually be available at the same time. They'll provide some highlights, maybe get a few fans in seats and they have zero incentives to tank at this point. They also have a handful of assets they can provide the Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies meanwhile should be uber motivated to get rid of Ja this season. They have a nice collection of assets to play with from the Bane deal, a few young promising players and could add to that collection somewhat with a Ja trade. He's not gonna bring back a ton of value, but probably not nothing - especially from a braindead and desperate GM like Billy King who might actually pay more than most other teams. The Grizzlies could retool without a headache in the lockerroom pretty quickly I think.
And for the Pelicans... whatever.
The Kings would be my other team I could see him ending up on. They are probably a bit embarrassed by the loss of both Fox and Hali still and want a "star" PG, so I could see them biting on Ja as they've shown they're OK taking on players most teams don't want. Not sure there's a deal there - but it wouldn't shock me to see Ja in Sacramento.
