Melo is a luxury, but it ain't the end of the world for Knick fans if we don't get him.
New York most likely won't be able to acquire a player like Carmelo Anthony if New Jersey acquires him, because free agency is thin, and you don't have the pieces it takes to acquire a superstar. If New York misses out on Carmelo, which it appears they're going to, I see no reason why any Knick fan should feel confident about the off-season.
