LOL idk if I trust guys like Simmons and SAS anymore. They are huge names and connected but obviously trust Shams and Woj more. No smoke with the latter 2

I almost think its the opposite. Shams and Woj obviously break news the fastest when something actually happens, but they very clearly are mouthpieces for certain organizations and spin rumors the way a team/executive wants them to be spun. Woj was insisting in the days up to last year's deadline that there were no Harden/Simmons discussions when that was obviously untrue. He reported what the Nets FO wanted him to report. I don't listen to anything Woj says about LeBron/Klutch because he's not in with them, when LeBron/Klutch want to leak something its Haynes or Shams.

Simmons, on the other hand, just knows a bunch of NBA people more casually and passes on the general buzz more informally. I wouldn't put SAS in the same category as Simmons.

Who is the next traded player? Thybulle, Korkmaz, Reddish, Crowder, Saric, Vanderbilt, Olynkik, Noel, Tate, Holmes, Eric Gordon, Ibaka, Mason Plumlee, Drummond, Love, Sadiq Bay, Bone Hyland, TJ McConnell, Covington, Nowell, Willy, Kenrich Williams, Bamba, Harrel, Tarence Davis?

yep. Woj is also paid by betting companies. Who remembers when he posted that Jabari will be selected first on a draft day this year

That's true with Woj. Just thinking about the big mouthpieces. Haynes and Shams 100%

Simmons and SAS I feel like have sources but the sources aren't really connected (more casual like u said) and so their information is blown out of proportion and may not be close to happening in reality

It's eerily quiet right now. Too quiet...

JJ Reddick now saying he’s hearing a Westbrook for Conley trade is close? Not exactly Woj or Shams but take it for what you will.

If the Nuggets end up trading Bones for freaking Taurean Prince I will seriously cry. That is beyond selling low. Just take the first round pick which is probably being offered.

I know he can't play defense but wow his value has plummeted.

most "journalists" these days are just corporate mouthpieces or bloggers who get paid to repost tweets. "sources" make for dramatic stories which drives revenue which is obviously more important than integrity or doing actual investigative work.

if journalists don't want to be replaced by chatgpt, they're making a pretty bad case for their profession.

100% my thoughts (as a Nuggets fan). If we can't get someone who will seriously increase our title chances--and it doesn't sound like any team is dumb enough to do that--I'd much rather we just get draft picks for him. We've lost a lot of draft picks in recent years, this is a perfect opportunity to restock. I don't want to blow it on a backup big who will be 2% better than Zeke Nnaji in the 8 minutes he'll play per playoff game.

The Lakers, Jazz and Timberwolves are in discussions on a three-team deal that would send D’Angelo Russell to the Lakers, Russell Westbrook and draft compensation such as a first-round pick to Utah and Mike Conley Jr. to Minnesota, sources tell me and

Just to be clear: getting Westbrook is a net negative basketball-wise for every team in the league. The only reason to acquire WB is to shed salary by taking on an expiring 47 million deal. I hope the GM that gave that contract is no longer in the league.

Well this is going to be one of the most boring deadlines in a long time it looks like.

I'm glad the Irving timebomb went off yet again, without it nothing would have happen this year.

I wonder if yesterday was the busiest day before the trade deadline with Dedmon and Kessler Edward's moves.

Hey I’m happy so far as a Kings fan!

We got PAID to take a free pass on a defensive wing with a coach in a Ike a town who is great at developing them.
