Don't forget what that one represents, however. It was a "win or go home" with their backs against the wall, a lot like this game tonight. They took care of business.

We swept the Suns and won consecutive games against Denver.

All we do is streak.

Exactly, being "streaky" is inconsistent.

You are relying on another streak to get you out of trouble.

Well yeah. We need time to figure things out because we’re young. But once we figure things out, watch out. Ask Denver.

It really would have been interesting to see him coach from the sideline these last two rounds than what he's been forced to do due to the injury.

It's actually a lot like the Denver - Lakers series. Almost identical

An important qualification.

Everyone focuses on the vets Conley (36), Gobert (31), Anderson (30) and Towns (28) and assumes that Minnesota is this aging team with no path to improve, but the other half of that 8-man rotation is Edwards (22), McDaniels (23), Reid (24) and Alexander-Walker (25). Anderson is the only one of the eight not currently locked into a contract for next season. If they want to, they could easily run it back.

It's really not all that different from the 2019-20 Nuggets. Their 8-man playoff rotation balanced veterans Millsap (34), Plumlee (29), Craig (29) with younger players Murray (22), Porter (21), Jokic (24), Morris (24) and Grant (25).

First round: Down 3-1 to Jazz, won in 7 games
Semifinals: Down 3-1 to Clippers, won in 7 games
Finals: Lost in 5 to Lakers

Were they dumb to not blow it up because they were so streaky in their first WCF run as a group?

We’re in for another great game. I’ve got Mavs by 7.

A win gives Minnesota its first June game in franchise history.

2004 WCF Game 6 was played on May 31.

Next closest the franchise has been to June is actually 2020-21 after COVID, when its last regular season game was May 16.

The main difference is on the PG position. Denver missed two years due to Murray's injury and they were able to survive from it as Murray got heathier. Conley is 36 but he is not going to become younger. You have to find his replacement now. Team is in trouble when Kyle Anderson is your second smartest player on the court. Two backup PGs, Jordan McLaughlin and Morris, are unplayable and rightfully so with combined 24 sec in this series.

I feel like we are all in agreement that we'd like to know the Finals matchup tonight. So we are all rooting for the little Mavs right?

We all need to come together as a country today and rally around the little Mavs.

Plus Luka and Kyrie both strike me as the kind of guys who would rather eliminate you in your barn than celebrate with their own fans. Waving goodbye to Alex on his way out.

Minnesota is America’s team. People relate to the Conleys, SloMos, and Ants of the world. Underdogs. Not Boston or Dallas with their crybaby all-stars and preachin’ fans. ;)

I want the Mavs to win the series but lose this game. Sorry Chuck :)

Disrespect to KAT... This was in 2016 when LeBron and KD were in their absolute peaks.

It's just normal coach gamesmanship to try to garner calls your way. We all see Gobert's illegal screens too. Welcome to 'modern' NBA basketball.
