Or possible even fourth.

Josh Hart had 15 points on 8 shots (.768 ts%), 14 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 0 turnovers, and two key plays down the stretch to help seal the 3-point Laker win

That is also a good game.

That team would make the playoffs this year. (If they had a bench) It's a bit light on the defense and size down low though.

This was probably Mitchell's best game of his career so far. So impressive what he did tonight.

love what i've learned about Mitchell reading this thread tonight. He's the same size as Kemba and he can't pass/facilitate/lacks vision. lololololol.

love it when folks comment on players, but don't actually watch them play.

first, Mitchell's measurements are a lot more Dwyane Wade or Russ than Kemba freaking Walker - seriously hilarious.

second, Mitchell's vision and passing might be his best attribute as a rookie - outside of maybe his overall ability to score. guys who don't actually watch him play look at the assist numbers and assume he can't pass or can't see the floor. as i said, he's actually very adept in that area. Rubio does most of the ball handling and the jazz offense isn't one where guys go for a lot of assists. Mitchell can flat out pass. He's damn good now, but his career will take off when the ball is in his hands full time.

He’s been absolutely horrible all year.

he's having a good january actually which is ALL year technically.

something like 3 or 4 20+ point games, good defense and his FG% improving... he did have that 0-13 shocker.

Simmons 20/6/5 with no turnovers. Amazing how this isn't even a remarkable line for him.

Mitchell is a good scorer. The other parts of his game should come in time. He put up a big scoring game today against the Suns

very good scorer, very good passer, solid defender for a rookie. he cares about defense, that will get much better. he's a complete player. for anybody to compare him to Kemba is laughable. plus with his length and strength, he can defend multiple positions.

MJ, Griffin, Iverson, Mitchell. The only rookies since 1980 to score 40 multiple times.

Whatever else can be said this is a GREAT ROTY race, hats off to all rookies who've made it so.

Pretty sure Griffin only had two 40+ games, so it will be interesting if Donovan gets another one.

I'm wondering how many 40+ games Iverson and Mj had.

Anyway, Mitchell is in some really elite company with his rookie season. Hopefully we're done hearing the complaints of why he is still considered a possibile ROTY by the "Simmons is a lock" crowd.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.
