Did Cleveland also, and more importantly, have a glaring need for a second creator so that teams could not just clamp down on Garland in the Playoffs? Yes. Did the Mitchell trade address that need? Yes.
The LeVert trade was supposed to address that, lmao

Heck, Rubio's 3 year deal was supposed to address that.

The hole at SF is still greater to this day than the need for a second playmaker. Especially when Sexton, Rubio, and LeVert were already on the team.

Regardless of what happens in this series, the trade was dumb and advanced the Cavs timeline forward, unnecessarily. Can we beat the Celtics in a 7 game series? Well, i guess we might find out. If we do that, can we beat say the Bucks in a 7 game series?

If Mitchell doesn't extend the entire thing is moot.

Mitchell has been our best player since he got here and a bonafide superstar.

Garland has developed and kept his end of the bargain.

Levert has been a 6th man candidate.

Allen has developed.

The only part of this plan that has been a let down is Mobley. For this unconventional team build to work, we need more consistent offense from Mobley and more consistent elite defense.

He could get there next year and we are due for some injury luck. Long story short, it's not nearly as bleak as you make it out to be and we will have the option to trade Mobley this off season if we want to shake things up

Agree with all of this except LeVert. The variance on that dude is Cediesque.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

I mean they chose to build their team with a defensive first mindset....they'd likely be sacrificing defense for offense and their defense wouldnt be nearly as good

Hopefully Suggs will be okay. That's a huge blow to Orlando if he's done for the game.

You're both full of ****.

Clearly Orlando is going to prioritize bringing in Miles Bridges.

Magic need to put in Anthony Black. Is he injured or something? They need a dynamic wing

Damn hope Suggs is okay. That sucks.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

I saw Magic fans calling for the coach's head for not playing him, while they played that guy with the hitch.

For those that don't know, Suggs is the heart of the team. Game was over the second he went down like that.

Cavs getting anything they want at the rim right now.

Idk what this line-up is but if I were the Magic, i would go away from it immediately.
