I get the POV of calling them disappointing because they've rarely played together in the 1.5 seasons thus far, but they've managed to have a pretty successful the first half at 29-18 and only 1GB Miami for the #1 seed in the conference. This is despite the following guys missing a ton of games: Harden(5), Bembry(6), Brown(9), Durant(11), Griffin(11-couple DNPs), LMA(13), Johnson(15), Millsap(23), Claxton(26), Harris(33) and Kyrie(40).
Injuries derailed last seasons' post season push, and with all the turmoil and drama sustained this season, they are still the odds-on favorites to win it all. The only criticism I have is Nash's inability to put proven vets like LMA, Millsap, Johnson, and Blake in better positions to contribute with all the time that the big guns have missed. Blake had a pretty good season for them last season and has been getting DNPs (most recently in yesterdays game against the Lakers where the roster looked like G-League players next to Harden)
When it comes to discussing the most disappointing Super Teams ever assembled, I think any team that had injuries ruin their chances should be removed from the conversation (e.g 2013 Lakers)
