Their brand already sucks, they have fired 3 coaches in a row, every summer.
KD is known for being a snake who jumps ship, this is no different. Send him to the highest bidder and call it a day.
A snake who jumps ship.
I disagree.
It's odd how some of you view KD. Care to elaborate on why you feel the way you do?
Yeah, i can.
OKC lost the WCF after being up 3-1 on the 73-9 Warriors. He joins those very Warriors a couple months later, pretty spineless. Bunch of talk about him not being happy with Westbrook in OKC.
Wins 2 titles in a row with the Warriors, him an Draymond get in a sideline spat in November. KD feels sighted bc Dray never apologies. He's seen flirting with Kyrie during All Star weekend. Warriors make a 3rd straight Final where KD tears his Achilles. He hates Draymond so he opts out of his contract and bounces.
Teams up with Kyrie on the Nets while he rehabs. They force out a great coach in Kenny Atkinson, because 'they don't need a head coach'. Make the team sign garbage DeAndre Jordan to a contract he's not worth. Get buyout vets in Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge that would not even be possible in the current CBA. Force the front office to trade for his buddy Harden. Kyrie has the whole vaccine hold out fiasco. Harden requests out, i guess bc Kyrie. They get Ben Simmons who prefers videogames over basketball. KD requests a trade that he later rescinded. Kyrie gets traded for peanuts bc of the vaccine stuff and his contract situation. Instead of sticking with the Nets, the team he hand picked, KD asks to be traded to the Suns to play with Booker.
Suns for some dumb reason trade for Beal after that. May 13th 2023 Monty is fired, May 9th 2024 Vogel is fired, and April 14th 2025 Bud is fired. Now KD is ready to leave for greener pastures, yet again, despite hand picking the Suns.
