I feel sorry how unstable his career is now. Listing 7 of the Lakers as prime experience is weak when he hasn’t finished a single season with them.
His game was heavily predicated on athleticism and once that left, it was game over for him. Seriously he was one of the worse FT shooters I've ever seen. Guy made Shaq look like Dirk at the FT line. Dude only had 1 season where he shot above 50% from the FT line during his first 9 years with the Clippers and no wonder CP3 lost his damn mind on him. He managed to get one final payday from Brooklyn only b/c KD and Kyrie for whatever reason demanded that the Nets give him a 4/40M deal that nobody was offering and he got Kenny Atkinson fired because he wanted playing time despite the fact that Jarrett Allen was outplaying him and was 10 years younger.
In the end he'll have made $170M by the time the Pistons are done paying out his contract. Oh well they got 4 2nds out of it so it's not a big deal for a small market team that's rebuilding with regards to the cap hit. DJ should've been so much more. If he had simply been a 60-70% FT shooter, Clippers could've won a title but it wasn't meant to be.
