Curry gets 1 or 2 games from Klay a series and omg Curry isn't that guy anymore. Imagine having your nickname be game 6 klay because that's the only game you show up and everyone saying couldn't have done it without game 6 klay. And yea but it would be great if we just got those games consistently from klay and we wouldn't need that at all.
See, this is why we can't have decent Steph discussions on here or on the gb a lot of the time. GS fans need to chill a bit when it comes to Steph at least on this board. Is it wrong of me to bring up inconsistency in a thread that involves him being compared to others? I had him ahead of Kobe here and a big reason why is Kobe also was too inconsistent for my tastes as well and I think benefited from playing on extremely good rebounding teams which could clean up his misses.
We’re talking about a guy who avg 20 in the playoffs for the most dynastic team of the modern nba. Him getting 35 in 1 game means he’s getting a lot less in the other games. There’s nothing wrong to admit that. Klay is a solid player, but for a dynastic team you usually get more from your 2nd best scorer. But people like you want to act like Klay is giving something more than any other 2nd option would on a championship team.
It’s fine to bring up stephs inconsistency. I even admitted he’s bound to have a game where he shoots like poop in every series. Just part of the variance with his game.
