al jefferson played almost all of his minutes at center this season. according to 82games.com he played 69% of all of his team's minutes at center. in comparsion, he only played 3% his the available minutes at pf.

the thing is, okafor has basically the same minute distribution as jefferson. he's at 62% at center, 5% at pf. neither should be on the list if based on last season. if one is going to be put in, it should be al jefferson, not okafor.

This guy must have been high on lsd when he made the list, and must have cracked out uncontrollably, normally someone that high, thinking that adding Zach Randolph, Josh Smith, and David Lee that high.
Jefferson is a Center on the Wolves this season without question. I thought Okafor started at PF next to Muhammed after the trade if hes not a PF my bad but he sure seems like one. There is no possible way that you can convince me that Maxiel and Milsap are have been better than Lee and Randolph both have had much better numbers on the offensive end (not even close) and niether Maxiel or Milsap are that much better than on defense either. Your just being a homer like usual.

I knew the Amare over Duncan thing would be controversial but Amare has been better this season, I know Duncan is probably the greatest PF of all time but just because he is doesnt mean I can put him number 1 every year, Stoudamire has been better this season and his numbers will prove it, it doesnt matter what "system" he plays in its a list based on this season.

nazr only started 29 games. the bobcats usual lineup was gerald wallace at the 4 and okafor at the 5.
the bobcats two most played lineups include wallace at the 4 and okafor at the 5.

Al Jefferson is a center, but played almost all his time at the 5.
If he is a 4 he is a top 10 4 easily. He is a crazy good player.

Far more importantly, Duncan is a defensive force, Amare is a defensive seive. TD is also a superior rebounder and a far superior passer (TD's passing out of the post is really underrated).
Also, Zach Randolph is way too high. There's a reason Portland took on a terrible contract (Francis) and a below average big (Frye) just to get rid of him - he has a negative impact on his team. He's the definition of a black hole on offense, and he essentially doesn't play defense. There is no way he should be ranked above useful, valuable players like Shard, Okafor, Odom and Sheed.
To me this play pretty much epitomizes Z-bo:

You are overstating what happened.
Frye was a 2nd year player, former #8 pick who'd had a nifty rookie season (easily the 4th best rookie in his class), and he still had some value as a prospect at the time of the trade.
Francis had agreed to a huge pay cut towards his buyout cause he wanted to return to the Rockets.
Portland saved a bundle in salary in making that trade, you make it sound like they were desperate to get rid of Zach, and, maybe they were, because they didn't want Zach to corrupt Oden, but they recieved several offers, not just 1 from NY, and they didn't "take back a bunch of junk" as you make it sound. They got a huge salary relief and a prospect - which is more than the Knicks are likely to get for Zach if they try to move him next season.

Go Knicks!! Go Mets!!

Well, in Duncan's defense, Duncan (like Shaq used to) doesn't go 100% in the regular season. He saves it for the playoffs.
I think, on account of defense and just plain skill, Duncan needs to be ahead of Amare, but I respect you for sticking to your argument. Nothing wrong with that.

With Crazy bad D.
I mean, Jefferson makes Zach Randolph look like a top notch defender. Where did he learn defense, oh, wait, he didn't - that was a silly question. Somebody should teach him some. Send him to the summer league or something. Please!!!
