I think it makes no sense not to include Embiid in the top 15 - It's easy to include coz he won an MVP I'd argue Embiid was closer to winning an MVP than a guy like Mourning or even Dwight ever has.

mmm, let me try but i will admit this is a "shooting from the hip" list that i would need tl consider more in depth when i have time, also defining positions in some of these guys is tricky tbh

pg
-magic
-curry
-oscar
-chris paul
-stockton
-nash
-bob cousy (more by legacy than feeling confident on his impact tbh)
-frazier
-kidd
-payton
-westbrook
-isiah thomas
-gus williams (?)
-mark price (?)
- tim hardaway(?)/lillard(?)/penny(?), brown(?), billups(?), tony parker (?)

tons of possible choices after like the top 12

sg
-jordan
-kobe
-west
-wade
-harden
-drexler
-miller
-ginobili
-allen
-Carter (?) (does he count as a wing or sg?)
-gervin (sf or sg?)
-english
-jimmy butler
-iverson (kinda see him as a sg)

sf

-lebron
-bird
-durant
-erving
-kawhi
-pippen
-baylor
-wilkins
-marquess johnson (?)
-moncrief (sf or sg?)
-dantley
-luka
-marion
-bobby jones
-paul george

PF

Duncan (center?)
Dirk
Garnett
giannis
karl malone
Barkley
bob petit
neil johnston
anthony davis (kinda counts as center too)
draymond (?) (would be a 4 in most eras)
McHale
webber (?)
pau gasol (?)
rodman? (can be a small forward too)
Mcadoo?

Center
kareem
russel
wilt
shaq
hakeem
robinson
jokic
moses
ewing
mutombo
cowens
unseld
embiid
gilmore (?)
parish (?)mourning (?)/marc gasol (?)/arvydas sabonis* (? this one depends on speculation of his european leagues prime level against nba competition)/thurmond

this last one is stacked

my list is slanted towards modern players i am morr familiar with although i tried to be impartial

Vince and Tmac were not better than AI. Just seems like you guys don't like him for some reason.

I don't think its just "some" reason. AI was ball dominant & inefficient with limited if any defensive impact.

The five years he lead the league in usage his TS+ marks were 99, 95, 100, 94 and 93. That's a lot of empty possessions.

There wasn't any point where Vince or Tmac were better than AI. Maybe 1 or 2 of the Orlando years maybeeeee.
