Come on, you are better than that. His MVP is well deserved, it's a RS award and he is very deserving.

Meh, not interested. I don't wanna see Boston make the Finals. Much rather have any non-Boston eastern team in the Finals (just a personal preference).
I don’t like Boston or LA I just think it’s a more fun matchup and just adds something different to Lebrons legacy If he was able to beat Boston playing for the Lakers.
The problem with your scenario is Boston could win the title and I ain't about that life.

Do you think the 2014-2018 Cavs lose to either of those team though? The 2018 iteration probably doesn’t make it out of the East but I think the Lebron/Kyrie Cavs do.
16 and 17 cavs surrreee. i've gotten lower on the 16 cavs tho.

LA vs Boston would be lit as hell tho, imagine if there was no covid and we had a lakers celtics finals

Lol no I will pass. Not down for Stevens coaching circles around Vogel (look at Spo vs. Bud right now) and then Bill Simmons and his media empire declares Tatum the new GOAT.

And why should that happen?![]()
Giannis won the MVP over LeBron fair and square. It's not a playoffs MVP award.

Stevens is a good coach but i doubt he'll embarass vogel or anything. Defensively vogels probably the best coach in the nba at adjusting and offensively hes not bad enough that hes just gonna rush in and keep hitting them with things that dont work imo

#1 seed in the better conference. Giannis piles up stats against bad eastern conference teams and then fails to elevate his game in the postseason. This is the second straight year it’s happened. The MVP is a narrative award, though, and the voters decided early on that it was going to Giannis.

I think when it comes to in-game adjustments and doing weird, funky stuff that works it's basically some order of Nurse, Stevens, and Spo. I think Stevens would absolutely embarrass Vogel. And I don't buy that he's the best coach adjusting defensively, based on what exactly? Anyway, can we just please not do a Boston Finals. I will be happy to see Raptors, Heat, or even Bucks in the Finals.

You do know that it is a RS award, not a PS award. How he performs in the PS is irrelevant to being a RS MVP.
This is a weird hill for some of you guys to die on and frankly not a good look. LeBron had a solid case but he was not robbed or anything at all, this isn't a Rose 2011 situation, Just stop it.
yoyoboy wrote:I agree that Vogel is one of the best in the league at defensive adjustments. Cranjis Mcbasketball (guy behind The BBall Index) is really high on his ability on that end as well I'm pretty sure. And offensively, it really doesn't matter what he does because LeBron runs the show and he'll be the one reacting and adapting to whatever Stevens would throw at him, which at this point in his career I more than trust in him to do that. Make no mistake though, Boston currently scares me more than any other team in the league. Tatum is looking like a true superstar, Kemba and Brown look good, Stevens is a mastermind, and everyone else is just getting the job done so effectively.

Yeah but his teammate had better stats overall and the advanced stats to, so how does that make Lebron the MVP?
