So we are obviously rooting for the Pelicans. Hopeflly Zion is good to go, hurt his wrist, but came back in the 3rd it seemed like. Why cant BI be back for that damn game....

If GS wins, then that messes things up and were likely in the 9 or 10 spot

But then I think we are rooting for the Suns to beat the Kings then since I dont realistically see the Kings losing to Portland

Then we end up 9th if we win out....shoot

Starting to subscribe to Nick Wright’s desperate take that the best shot Lakers have is to get Denver earlier on, when the schedule helps the Lakers rest with more time between games, rather than Conf. Finals.

That said, there is no guarantee they survive the play-in. What a weird team.

Best shot to beat Denver as in win one game? Sure. I could see them stealing a game if Denver goes cold and the Lakers just shoot the lights out.

Win a 7 game series? The only way that happens is with a Nikola Jokic injury. I mean this seriously, if both teams are healthy, the Lakers could play the Nuggets in a series 100 times and they’d win 0 times.

I don't think LeBron would uproot his family right now to chase rings, but I could be wrong. He did win a ring in LA either way.

Maybe he doesn't see another place as a surefire way to maximize his chance of winning a ring + the family thing.

He cares about winning obviously, but there's no shot he cares what the general public thinks of his legacy.

I agree with this. I would be the same. He and plenty of people he knows consider him the GOAT. I think a good portion of NBA fans have him as GOAT.

Yeah. Don’t really disagree anywhere here, and that’s why it seems the notion James would go to be a Knick or 76er next year seems preposterous to me. Might be coming from the bias in the sense I wouldn’t really enjoy it / it would seem weird, but I’m really not seeing the case & think he probably retires here - for better or for worse. Bron’s still got gas in the tank Imo, and I don’t know when he’ll hit that dreaded “E”.
