He accumulated a bunch of All-Star selections and helped win one of the most memorable titles in history as the 2nd best player.
lol he’s going in as a 1st ballot HOFer without question.
Why do you care more about media voting than actual winning?
14-17 the cavs consistently sucked with Kyrie as their best player. 2018-2019 boston does not get better with him. 2020-2023 nets are barely better with him.
Three years as a historically weak second best player, and several seasons with marginal on-court impact and negative off-court impact should not get you first-ballot hall of fame.
lol, for someone who is being so technical about what other people respond to, you’re going on quite a non-sequitur yourself.
Nothing you said changes the fact that he’s a 1st ballot HOFer. It’s a media selection, and he checks all the boxes. You responding that 2014-2022 happened as to why he’s not a HOFer doesn’t make much sense, because those seasons are exactly why he’s going to the HOF.
Does he DESERVE the HOF? IMO no, I agree, he’s been a generally overrated player with pretty weak impact signals throughout his career outside of this one with some occasionally strong playoff moments, like 2016. But that wasn’t the point.
