I assume Hibachi would like to take a good shooter right now. I know I'm targeting SF shooter myself though. :D

Yeah I need a shooter. Not necessarily a small forward tho

Guards shouldn't be a problem though. With that frontcourt, you won't need that much talent in the backcourt to do alright.

Chauncey is exactly who I wanted, especially being a Pistons fan. I was stunned to see him go so high, but he's a guy who could fit in anywhere, and was solid in all aspects of the game, so it should be no surprise that he's more valuable in this game. But an 80's guard who fits Chauncey's mold, huh? Presumable a champion himself? I'll be doing some research then.

Now that I've thought about it, I figured who would probably work out for MisterHibachi. I'll be interested to see if I'm correct in who he's targeting.

There's a few ways I can go. Hopefully I can go with my first choice, but it's looking unlikely really.

With two picks i already knew ardee was a lock for the best offense. Let's wait to see if it confirms. I like Bruh Man's core too, two all-time level defensive players and both excellent playmakers, with one of the greatest off ball scorer. O_6 has the most balanced team imo, DHodgkins has a heck of a balanced team too. whitehops team would be fun to watch. Would love to see ThunderDan9 team play too.

We're doing 3 year peaks, and the player has to have played at least 75% of the games in each individual season. Walton doesn't have 3 straight years that qualify unfortunately.

Walton never played 62+ games 3 years in a row.

Yeah, got it, also, Walton's prime was in the 70's, and its 80's+ only.

Walton isn't eligible for this draft. He never played enough games to qualify by the criteria we're using.

Yeah, Chauncey was a very versatile player in his prime (both him and Kobe had excellent post game, good luck putting smaller defenders on them :P ), and I think really highly of him. Very high bball IQ guy, very competitive and reliable in the crunch time. He could play very well off the ball so he's a great fit next to Kobe.

No, not a champion, but came pretty close to it a couple times. He was at his best in the early 90s.
Well, enough with the hints, you're my opponent after all.

Oh, so it seems that Notanoob will remain with his hands empty because you have your pick before him.

BTW. Hibachi, something bad happened to our avatars.

I probably won't get him either. 3 out of 4 guys before me would have a need for him.

I have no idea what happened to my avatar lol, pic deleted :-?

Alright, edited. Mr. William Russell.

John248 - as you've probably seen, Hibachi was already considering him before I even mentioned anything in my post, so it wouldn't change anything.

Hmmm...There are a lot of solid PGs who peaked in the early 90's, but one who could shoot 3's and was happy to play off-ball though? AND play defense?

I wish I could name guys, but I don't know if there is a perfect fit. I think I'm going to go with a poor man's Steve Nash (no, not the guy who's always getting compared to him, different one).

Unless you mean a guy me and Hibachi were talking about, who has no chance of falling to my next pick.

I LITERALLY was just scouting this guy on bball-reference and youtube hahaha

I know he probably won't fall that low though, no matter, I know who I'm taking

It'd be pretty funny if it isn't the same guy.

Anyway, there are still a lot of great point guards and small forwards still left to be taken. Centers are very limited, so I'm glad I got a superstar talent at the most important position in basketball. Shooting guards are also lacking, but there is still plenty of great offensive SFs left.
