Who would you build your franchise around in their respective primes?

^ lmao.
Yea gimme Bird. Bird could play any style (pre-injury), and was the greatest all around player of all time (imo).
Just look what he did in his 1st year with Boston...

If lee is worth #12 then Ron is EASILY worth #5. Sooo...how about:
Malik Rose/#5 for Ron Artest.

Shaq, but this is easily and either or and there is no correct answer. I wouldn't want to build around Bird, because then when he retired I might have to give him an executive position and I would allow him to destroy my championship caliber team like he did to the Pacers.
Plus I love Shaq, I'd let him **** my girlfriend.

I can see why someone would pick Shaq but Bird played in the same era (and at the same position) as guys like Erving, Worthy, and Dominique Wilkins. Not to mention young Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley.
All those guys could "run/dunk" better than almost anyone in the game today. Do yourself a favor next time you are "ROtFLMFAO"-ing on youtube and look up one of those dudes.
