I'll come to Dennis' defense here a bit. It's tough to judge him based on these last 2 years (1 with Dwhine and 1 tank year). The thing we fell in (relative) love with him for was pretty much the thing that's causing us grief right now. His attitude.
I still recall AverageAl, ChillSap andJeffrey being our supposed vet leaders but totally bending over for the Cavs in multiple years. Meanwhile, Dennis actually tried while them "solid" vets were self-checking out there. He was the only one not scared out there both offensively and defensively. Not sure where he lost that but I suspect it was coached out of him to a degree.
Would I be surprised to see him traded? No. Honestly, based on these recent comments, he should be traded. But I'm not gonna run him down as a player based on a year with DysfunctionalDwight and 1 year where we were trying to lose.
I'd prefer he get on-board with whatever CLP is trying to institute here. At least give the new HC a chance, see what his vision is, before checking out.
If not, good luck elsewhere ... until you play the Hawks. Hope we get a good enough package in return.
ETA: And, how dare you, macd?! You'd rather see Taylor at the point? Really? For shame ...
