He has been subpar mostly, but there were clear improvements this year.

Yep. Even if you don't believe in Reddish, it's clear he has potential to be more and we all want to see it. With John, he's steady, efficient and productive but we know with his flaws, he's likely not going to be a star. With Cam, it's that possibly that's there plus he's the most naturally talented and gifted member of the team going on the 2nd year of his contract. He's not Trae but trade value wise, him and Trae are as untouchable as it gets for young prospects. Hunter is pretty untouchable too even though he doesn't offer close to the same promise. We just paid a **** for him and finding guys like him are damn near impossible and usually aren't for trade.
John might be our 2nd best player but has the 4th highest trade value. Still, not interested in trading him for any pick in this draft at all.

Horrible no but I can't see him fitting in with KAT either. Collins leaves much to be desired in space. Okongwu probably is your best fit option with KAT

Great so Collins and 6 for #1 overall. Git R Dun.
Seriously you believe that the awesome Hawks have four players that are more valuable than the #1 overall draft pick. Wow.
I know Reddish finished strong, but he shot 38% from the field and had an Efg of 46%. Those are horrific efficiency #s.
Collins 58% with 40% 3s 80% FTs amd 63% Efg. I get that his D is subpar.

You really can't use full stats to justify values on rookies for the most part. Its about talent, potential, improvement shown and what not and no, no interested in trading JC for anyone in this class.

And to be fair, I said we aren't trading Collins in a deal for anyone in this draft.
You said you weren't interested in trading up in this draft. You didn't specify that meant only Collins. However, now that that is clarified if we were to trade #1 to you what is the best offer you could make. I'm thinking maybe just maybe we would accept, Reddish, #6 and your 2nd round pick assuming you have it. Not saying we would, but that would be ballpark.

As I said in your mind your great team has 4 players more valuable than the #1 overall draft pick. I don't think the Lakers, Clippers or Bucks have so many players of great value.

Dude, I wouldn't trade Reddish by himself for the #1 in this draft, let alone Reddish plus pieces.

I'm thinking you know it's not that simple. You've asked your overriding question, which is whether or not a MIN/ATL deal makes sense. It seems like you have your answer so ...

Yep one team with a glut at SF the Hawks and a shortage at SG. Another team with a glut at SG the Wolves with a shortage of SFs and the #! overall pick which could be used on SG Anthony Edwards a local Atlanta player. How could we possibly come up with a trade that would help both teams. It's just out of the question.

We have 3 promising wing players in Cam, Hunter and Huerter. All 3 can play other positions besides SF.

Yep I have been informed that the mighty Hawks have 4 players more valuable than the #1 overall draft pick.

When Ant "I had a lot of bad games this year" Edwards is the top prize you know the draft has issues.

Seems clear he's just here to be 'that guy'. Not a serious conversation anymore.
