We tried this out last season and it worked pretty well.
The 2019 season is upon us.
Opening night features a couple of prominent former Hawks:
76ers v Celtics
Thunder @ Warriors
I'm excited to see what Dennis looks like as a veteran player on a contender. And the Celtics looked stack from top to bottom hopefully they prove capable of actually making the Warriors work in the NBA Finals this post season.
NOTE: Miwaukee and Giannis really should have been on the g night docket this year. I guess NBA was just excited to get a couple of their premier franchises on the marquee to start the season.
Since I root for chaos and wanna watch the world burn, I'm watching the Twolves like ...
ETA: Aye @jamallll, do I get cool points for staying on-theme with that gif?

I'm interested in the 'They are no longer Hawks group.
1. Bud and Milwaukee 2. Dennis in OKC 3. Muscala in Philly.
4. Then pick watch is on: Mavs and Cavs
5. Then I'm looking at teams that will need the services of Bazemore, Dedmon and Lin.
6. In a wide open East: who takes the top spot - my contenders are Bucks, Celtic, Raptors. Philly with an outside shot. In the West - the drama in MinnySoCold and all the Spurs injuries. Who takes the top spot Rockets or Warriors.

{Writes down 'MinnySoCold', plans to use it later.}
On the #PicksWatch note, I'm not happy about the news that emoLove may not be healthy to start the season.

Shame, shame, shame. Never bet on the wiz to do anything. They have been overrated for 20 years and this year is no exception.

You ain't wrong.
I proclaimed two years ago that team needed to trade John Wall. They'd be in a much better place now had they done so and just built around Beal and whatever they got in return.
They have talent, just terrible chemistry, no vision or leadership.
Spoiler:

Seriously...you guys need to consider trading John Wall. Don't wait until his value tanks and it's too late.
Miami, Philly, New Orleans, Sacramento each seem like natural trading partners.
Sixers have had two issues against Boston dating back to last year, thinking they have an advantage in the post with Embiid and thinking that he will suck the defense in opening up their shooters. Then this season, they are going to have a few growing pains justifying starting Fultz over Redick because of his draft position. Fultz will have a much better time running the second unit rather than running the wings knowing that Simmons is not going to pass the ball out to him at the 3 point line.

I liked OKC's offense more than Philly's or Boston's tonight. (Those EC contenders just had a jump-shooting contest where no one was the winner.)
But Dennis is still too ball dominant and doesn't move well without the ball. Frustrating trait after 4+ years in the league.

Redickulous to start Fultz.
He needs to show that he has a J first, to pair with Simmons. (or Simmons gets a J)

Nice to know other fanbases are panicking even more than us:
It's interesting that no one seems to admit that when you have a mostly new team with new key players that haven't been together before they often struggle at first. If some of those new players are rookies than it's even worse.
For Dallas it just seems like they got beat by a team with a lot more talent.

Jarrett Allen up in Brooklyn has been showing out lately.
J Collins needs to come back and show these guys how it's done.
(Quietly, 2017 Draft has been surprisingly sturdy and has a chance to be one of the better drafts of the last decade.)
