Teachers where you at?? (haha)

It’s important not to leave out key details, I know those had to be teen parents. I think they should be commended for their child speaking so early!

The parents looked to be in their 30's. The kid was maybe 8, but she was closest to the actual answer haha.

I feel bad for that kid. Pretty obvious that the education system AND her family has failed her. Time to get her some books to expand her horizons:

Sinners!

I want to say, if you didn’t like it, ONE reason is because you didn’t understand it. I get it, some people just want the story to lay everything plain and simple for them, that’s cool. Forgetting the other reasons that can’t be discussed on here. I implore you, if you didn’t like it, look for videos on YouTube that will explain the MANY things you likely missed, then watch it again. They slapped a horror tag on it, as they do, but this work is multi-genre! There is so much to be missed and it could open your eyes to a real experience! If you understand things, that aren’t Easter eggs as people try to call them, and you still don’t like it, okay.

Edit: there are simply a lot of things black people will get off first watch because it’s lived traditions or things we know because of harm, but even then, there is so much more. They carefully crafted every scene and every character! Please, find the information and watch it again.

Last couple months I've been tearing through several really good shows from the last decade that I never watched at the time.

The Americans - full series is on Hulu - excellent

Mr. Robot - full series on Netflix - also excellent

Bates Motel - full series is on Prime - very absorbing and super bonkers lol

And now I'm into Orphan Black, which was recently adde to Netflix. Good so far.

All recommended by yours truly.

I've also been keeping up with the ongoing seasons of Foundation, Invasion, and Platonic on Apple. Peacemaker on HBO Max. Finished the recent seasons of Upload on Prime, Twisted Metal on Peacock and Wednesday on Netflix. Planning to watch the Dexter finale tonight. And the show Crashing on HBO is really good and funny. And Countdown on Prime was entertaining enough. And I'm probably forgetting 10 other things that went in one eye and out the other.

New season of Only Murders in the Building drops in a few days as well so I'm looking forward to that. Oh yeah and Thunderbolts is on Disney+ now and def one the better Marvel movies in recent years.

Now you guys are all up to date on my excessive television watching haha.

Edit: Oh yeah, Alien Earth!

And I had to change my Netflix thumb rating for Orphan Black from "I like this" to "I love this." I'm really into it.

Yeah I've watched most of season 1 of Orphan Black now and I'm fully hooked. Tatiana Maslany is killing it playing all the different characters.

The Americans...
Spoiler:
I'm still mad about the fate of my beautiful girlfriend Nina Sergeevna Krilova,
but aside from that it was really good haha.

Right!!! So impressive to play all those different characters. At least I’m impressed. And when one character is trying to play another…she does such a good job of not nailing it.

Just finished reading Along Came a Spider and wow that is easily one of the best stories I have ever read, watched or listened to. Entertaining cover to cover. There's really no lull in the action. Without thinking too much about it Along Came a Spider is up there with Ozark and Breaking Bad as my favorite stories ever.
