I got a donut yesterday and the family in front of me had no idea what a dozen is. The kid said 10, the mom said 8, and the dad laughed and said no it's 16.

Teachers where you at?? (haha)

It’s important not to leave out key details, I know those had to be teen parents. I think they should be commended for their child speaking so early!

The parents looked to be in their 30's. The kid was maybe 8, but she was closest to the actual answer haha.

I feel bad for that kid. Pretty obvious that the education system AND her family has failed her. Time to get her some books to expand her horizons:
