Sounds good to me.

Scal would be a fan favorite in the twin cities....
They would appreciate his hustle...and his leadership qualities....something sorely needed on that young team...

For all his faults, he is capable of putting good stretches together which can't be said for any of the other guys. Especially since he will only play if someone important gets hurt, which is incidentally when he seems to play best.

Do we have to wait some period of time before we could do this?
Anyone know what the rules are?
There's no way the Celts give up Tony and Giddens, one stays since
Walker doesn't have SG quicks.

I wonder if we sign or trade for a backup PG before training camp?

If we're trading Tony to Minnesota we should try to get back Gomes. Tony can start for Minnesota, and Brewer will get a chance to start at the 3 instead of Gomes. Basically Minnesota had no true shooting guard before signing Pavlovic, but they have Gomes, Brewer, and Wilkins as small forwards.
I don't think Kahn is that big on Gomes, because he was quoted as saying that this year is a make or break year for Ryan and Brewer both.

In all honesty Giddens has Gerald Green written all over him not Joe Johnson. Walker has some potential though...
