But Celticfan1980, that's the exact point I'm making.........neither team is at full strength yet. Any smart basketball guy ( and it ain't that many on RealGM) would know that all the contending teams for what ever reason didn't start their season's at full strength.Celtsfan1980 wrote:Gasol was injury-prone in Memphis, so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets injured in the playoffs as well. The Lakers were very lucky last season with him remaining healthy, and the luck has run out. I'm not sure why people would be surprised. It's safe to say that Garnett is not 100% yet and Davis hasn't played a game yet. Celtic fans can make the same claim.
And Gasol only had one injury that side lined him for a long time in Memphis, that was a ankle injury he had. He's only missed 72 games in his 8 seasons. But at any rate your right he's missed games but I wouldn't say he injury prone that distinction belongs to guys like Yao, T-mac and Grant Hill, guys that could never stay healthy. Gasol has only missed 17 games in the last 2 seasons. Saying the luck has ran out is a bit of a big big reach.......c'mon CFan1980 I know you're much smarter than that.
That tells me you may be looking for the escape route to a title! I'm just saying.
