I think the main point of bringing up that Jameer Nelson didn't play was not to say that he and Garnett are of equal value to their teams, because we know that isn't true. The point is that many Celtic fans were using KG's injury to imply that that series or the Playoffs in its entirety was a farce. Jameer Nelson is no Kevin Garnett, but he isn't a slouch either. Whether or not you consider him a one hit wonder All Star is irrelevant. He is still a VERY good player who the Magic were missing during that time. Because of that, there are way too many factors, variables, hypotheticals, and what-ifs to consider for anyone to consider that series victory null and void because of KG's absence.
