Red Claws clinch the Atlantic Division title with a win. Not that any of us care lol. We're not the Raptors.

Hope Yabusele can get on there, by the Playoffs.

I know Nader is a D-league star but what do y'all think his ceiling in the pros is?

I realize this is hyperbolic but does anybody else think KlayKlone when watching this Nader kid? More smoothness factor than me pretending to look at stat comparisons or ya'know--- anything factual.
Either way I loved him in SL the first time around. Legit excited to see him the next go around. Got legit potential to be an 8+yr vet if he plays his cards right IMO. This league is made for guys like that ATM.
EDIT: I used "legit" in back2back sentences here. Choosing to just highlight this vs "fixing" it.

I'd say an Evan Turner/Jared Dudley type hybrid.
I keep comparing his old-man style to Pierce, but you need to be particularly special player in order to make that type of game work at an all-star level or higher, and as much as I like the kid he's not on that level. Those are two guys who have a similar style that are more in his league talent-wise.
I think he can be some combo of Dudley/Turner if he reaches his ceiling. A better shooter than Turner, but worse ball-handler and distributor (not as much of a point-forward). He's closer to Dudley's level of shooting, probably a little worse, but with better ball skills. Similar defense (meaning just OK) to both.
That's a steal though with the 58th pick. He can be a very reliable guy off the bench.
Ideally you get the best of both worlds and you end up with ET-lite, but who can operate without the ball in his hands and hit 3's as well as he does long 2's / Dudley-lite who can be more offensively than just a spot-up shooter and who can take it to the rack.

I do see Klay light but with much less shooting brilliance.... which is what makes Klay so good.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I hope so except E couldn't shoot a lick. I have a totally unreasonable hatred for Williams, never liked the guy and never had any particular reason why either

Re: Draftees 2016 – Brown, Yabusele, Žižić, Jackson, Nader
The Red Claws coach Scott Morrison on Yabusele:
http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/celtics/2017/03/29/celtics-draft-pick-guerschon-yabusele-joins-red-claws/AewrOmhg2VLxxIqfHeikLO/story.html
“I don’t think the film did justice to his physical prowess,” Morrison said. “He’s a big guy who can move around and has good skills.”
Morrison said he plans to use Yabusele as both a power forward and center, adding that the positions are mostly interchangeable in Maine’s offense. Morrison said the Red Claws’ next two opponents feature smaller, more perimeter-oriented frontcourt players, so they will offer a good challenge for the 6-foot-8-inch, 240-pound Frenchman.
“I’m sure a player of his caliber will not hurt our chances to move on,” Morrison said. “But at the end of the day, our job is to develop players, including those who have ties to Boston. I hope we can get in the postseason so we have a couple of games to get him comfortable.”

Klay comp might be hyperbole, but I think he is legit better than Young, Jerebko and Green right now.

I still like Markieff Morris as a comp. Mobile PF, shoots the 3, can put it on the floor and get momentum behind a drive to the hoop, who mixes it up with bigger guys when he needs to (at least he used to).
Both are tweeners in that SF/PF role who will end up playing much more PF than SF when it's all said and done.
Give me a Tommy Point!

In the NBA, Nader would be more of a SF/SG/(PG); a 3-2-1. -- He's not so much a PF, on NBA terms.
