Look, Smart has been absolute trash the last month+, and deserves the majority of the criticism he faces, but getting mad that he didn't get up immediately after being flipped/upended by Green seems like a complete stretch to me.
He got upended a good three feet in the air, and if the shot went in, fans would be more pissed that the refs blatantly missed a call than at Smart for not popping immediately to his feet.
He didn't pop up right away because he was looking at the refs while holding his arm up in the air, arguing the call. Look at the video again, please. Any play where a player argues while the play is still going on instead of finishing out the play, is horrendous. You don't do that. Especially, not the final play of a game. Unquestionably, not the time nor the place. Argue after plays, not during.

He complains, for sure (I mean, he did get destroyed) but if you think it at all impacted his contesting the shot, watch it again.
There are plenty of valid criticisms of Smart- you don't have to nitpick this or the perfect pass he threw to IT to find one.
