Walsh and JD are worth trying to see more but I think Hauser doesn't have much more upside. And kornet is garbage but he is cheap garbage so ok and champagnei doesn't seem legit to me. Brogdon health issues and can't will we can't sign so yeah I'm nervous about the bench.and then add in Pritchard who's asked for trade pesky but tiny. Griffin good version of haslem but playing days are gone.Half-Full wrote:captain green wrote:So he could be lying about his defense then essentially I don't care I don't see him making a difference this year at all. It could have been any second rounder and I would have been meh at least it wasn't another guard. I'm more concerned about that bench now that Brogdon is hurt and apparently can't sign can't will legit can't will was 9th best on our roster and he is 7th now. Pritchard wants out but we kind of need him while Brogdon is down. ( Hauser, champagnei, kornet are all garbage so ) and even with poor stats I'd put walsh ahead of all them. So are bench looks like injured Brogdon, no money to resign can't will, I want to be traded Pritchard, then JD, walsh, Hauser, champagnei, kornet. Are you ok with that bench?
So much negativity!
maybe you could assume that the Celtics aren't done tweaking the roster since the draft was last night and free agency starts a week from tomorrow? Then there's Summer League, and a whole summer, and training camp -- by that point you can dust off these concerns again if they're still relevant!
Back to Walsh: love the pick. Hope he gets into Jayson and Jaylen's one-on-one games. He can replace Pritchard there
