I get the "we don't need any more young players" BS. "Can't win with young players" etc..

So on that note, Chicago, which is battling for the best record in the East, has used a good mix of veterans and this one rookie 2nd rd pick, AYO DOSUNMU. That is 2nd rd, not first rd.

DOSUNMU is shooting 53% and 52% from FG and 3FG in his last 10 while shooting 54+ and 43% for the entire year at about 20 min per.

As I said during the draft, you can always find good talent *IF* you can scout well enough. Remember D Bane at 30 last year?? Brandon Boston this year at the end of RD2??

Not that anyone of those 3 were to be guaranteed to play well here with our team's philosophies on coaching/developing them, But I don't want to hear that young players CAN NOT make a major impact to winning ever again. With that mindset (like Boston's) It certainly won't happen.. and Now look at what season we have had and are having.

agreed. But I like Begarin too. And if we had drafted Ayo instead, or anyone else tbh, like you said, they wouldn’t play because it’s just not in Imes vocabulary. This is why I hated the Kyrie trade knowing we could have drafted SGA, Bridges, MPJ or Simons to give us a young big three. Also hated trading away the #30 pick too. It’s not like we had world beaters on our deep bench. I think most of our awful moves have been to set something up for a future trade that might never come

Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Great coaching/system + unselfish stars. Butler had 10 assists by halftime lol.

Glad to hear "other people" are recognizing what have been saying all year. I truly believe these sports writers get their Ideas from me.

I wonder how much of this has something to do with Draymond missing games. He's integral to what they do on offense.

They could use Horford so bad, but stupid Brand and the stupid contract offered to Horford with that stupid contract.

Horford is guaranteed 14.5 million next year, and has about 14.5 million in salary left on this season.

I wish there was a way to void his contract and then resign on right now that pays him 32 million combined for this and next season.

He get a bit more money, and now he would only count as 16 million in outgoing salary.

Everyone knows a good defense can lose their steals and turnovers which leads to easy baskets in a better Offensive. percentage.. When not many talk about how an orphans can Is make their defense better. When an opposing team has to play harder on defense because of a good offense they get more tired.. But more importantly made shots cannot lead to quick rebound and fast breaks. Versus always inbounding the ball.

My point would be you need offensive and defensive balance.

I tried my hardest to put “orphans” in context
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
Spurs need to tank Dejunta is going to be wasted there for 2-3 years. The idea was picks and swaps and romeo + nesmith probs to get us Murray but even that might not be too enticing for Pop.
