Disagree about starting. But agree with closing. If we're closing a game with 2 bigs, then it should be Brogdon as the PG over Smart.
A couple reasons why Smart should start, IMO:
1) We should always have two of Tatum/Brown/Brogdon on the floor. When one of Tatum/Brown sits, Brogdon needs to be on there so you have a second 20 ppg capability scorer.
2) Derrick White and Marcus Smart should play together as little as possible. It's by far the least complimentary pairing of our perimeter players. They're too duplicative of each other, with the same general strengths/weaknesses.
If you start Brogdon, it become more difficult to line your rotations up to accomplish both of those things. But down the stretch, Brogdon should absolutely be the guy in the game over Smart if it's an either-or scenario where we're going with 2 bigs.
