You’re under the second apron and chance Tatum comes back in March. What are you talking about?

There it is. Misplaced optimism.

Even if Tatum came back next march and was a better version of the player who got hurt, this team ain't going to the finals.

You see the roster they have?

We have the top 3 from a title team. Decent place to start. (Yes I know there are injury concerns). I of course don’t see us as a finals team but I do think Brad will do something at the big man spot and we’ll be in the 7-10 range, if things go well we’ll be 4-6.

The general consensus all year was it was going to cost assets to dump salary and instead we gained assets. I’m happy about that.

Okay. So I am still happy. We have at the moment 28 and 32.. Might have to get 2. 7 footers with those pics.. And I do believe there are some talented ones available.

Well, if we still have 28 tomorrow night, I hope we take Kalkbrenner.

I am sure they are well aware of the options Brad has, and the most important thing for next season is profitability to be able to afford players like this again in the near future. Remember what wyc was saying....the Celtics were a break even team at best money wise with how much spending there was. Time to make hay while the sun shines and get ready for the next phase of this squad.

As of this moment.. And also 32.. But with the way things are going, nothing will be guaranteed.

The new owners are Hedge Fund guys, their specialty is selling off talent and making a profit, so they are feeling quite happy with the lowered tax bill at the moment...

Yeah, no telling what we'll have for picks.

All I know is Simons and Niang can both shoot. And pretty much every prospect we've worked out ahead of this draft can shoot as well..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Well balance has been restored to this website, via brad Stevens, at the very least lol. We're back!

I wonder if Brad would consider trading Jaylen in a deal centered around Markkanen and a few Jazz draft picks.

And so is bubblegum Joe.

No Jrue, no KP, probably no Horford and Hauser, zero Tatum?

He's about to be exposed hard.

People keep saying this gives the Celtics trade flexibility, but let’s be real — if Brown, Tatum, and White are untouchable, then what flexibility are we actually talking about? That leaves you with Simons, Payton Pritchard, and Sam Hauser. What are you realistically getting in a trade with those pieces?

Yeah if healthy with Tatum, it’s almost the same one that went to the ECF before minus Marcus. Unless you still think Marcus is a star (he’s not) what’s your point?

Back in 2023 with a younger Horford plus more depth pieces in Rob and Grant Williams etc.

Time has passed.

This roster as stands is **** garbage and won’t win us ****.

Porzingis is an expiring. Easier to move for cap space
Jrue has 3 years left.

You have to combine the trades for it all to lead to going under the 2nd apron.

Still crazy to me Brad got a 26 yo starter and picks for Jrue

Somebody using their brain. Very rare around here.

Heard we're going to the championship next year even though they couldn't even sniff a competitive second round with a superior roster this year.

So what?

That roster is straight mediocre **** now

Again, it's June 24.

What did I read, they are 4.5mil under the second apron. So unless you're trading jb, dw, or Hauser, that's the ballgame. No?
