This is different than Len Bias & Reggie Lewis who both had cocaine-related cardiomyopathy & a sudden lethal ventricular arrhythmia.
This is different than Hank Gathers who I believe had ASH (assymetric septal hypertrophy)/hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) & a sudden lethal arrhythmia.
ASH/HCM is by far & away the most common cause of sudden death in young athletes.
