Now send Bass to POR, he deserves it, get T-Rob + McCallum.
Good assessment:

well most of those guys were low picks, and that's what you're going to get there. So if we want to pick higher….

Ainge lives in the real world not the fantasy world that's for your trade proposals. No offense.

It's January 9th, there are 40 days to the trade deadline. It's not necessary to move Wright now, unless there's a follow-up move on the way. The Rondo trade was ok, but he blinked first. Now he's blinked again. Do we really think Phoenix gave them an ultimatum like 'Deal us Wright now or we go in a different direction?' 40 days for another team to miss out on the big man they want, 40 days for someone to get injured, 40 days for teams to re-evalutate their needs. You can't get two second-rounders for Wright in 40 days?

I'll admit that my trade proposals skew toward long shots.. But look at the Pierce trade. Our best offer was a Cleveland first, then the Brooklyn thing came together. No need to deal Wright now. Hoping the details of the trade change when it's official- like PHO sends us a first-rounder if we don't get the MIN pick..

Young is "nothing" -? Half this board thinks he will be better then Smart! And he was the first of the many many many picks we got for dismantling our team...

The dude also thinks Smart "sucks" even though he has been one of the more impressive rookies this season. He is delusional.

I think the trade exceptions appeal to Ainge for some reason, but I have no idea what he's planning with them if we're supposedly going under the cap this summer..

celts never have any luck in the draft anyway. they can finish with the worst record in the league and wind up with the 5th pick.

Andy this is good thinking, but there's SO MUCH to move that I can't fault him for starting early. Might get more later, but situations might change so you don't know. And we've got games to lose and youngsters to evaluate - while still showcasing e.g. Bass and Thornton - in the meantime.

Woohoo, more useless bottom of the 1st rd picks. Awesome. And even when we connect the 1 time out of 5 that Ainge bats down that low(ie James Young) I'm sure we'll have hime playing in the d league instead of giving the guy minutes his rookie year. This is (Please Use More Appropriate Word). How about tanking and getting a Top 5 pick so we can land an effin STUD? I'd rather have TWO Top 5 picks and tons of cap space the next 2 years instead of countless 1st rd picks that are more likely to bring back JR Giddens and Fab Melo types then Rondo and Youngs. Starting to think Ainge just likes to pump his ego by always being in the trade rumors and acquiring picks.

Umm the Celtics just traded their leading scorer for no one, what exactly do you think Ainge is doing?
