“Brown

Williams
Multiple 1st Picks”
That seems like an overpay, even for KD
Would 8 1st round picks (plus a couple of swaps) make it work?

Jaylen, Theis, Nesmith, 3 firsts, 1 swap.
That is awful for us, just awful. I'd be hard pressed liking Brown for kd straight up, let alone all those picks

And possibly Timelord instead of Theis.

The Suns just supermaxed Booker and now he can't be traded. And the Nets do not want Ayton. And Bridges doesn't get you KD.
I really don't see KD going to either of those teams.

Isn't KD signed for another 4 years tho? If it's "2 years of Brown (and maybe more)" vs. "4 years of guaranteed KD" then I think it's hard to say no to the trade. Yeah Brown can re-sign with us but it's also just as possible that he doesn't.
if we get KD, there ain't gonna be any other players coming to boston in the package.
we are already have to send out a TON of salary just to match KD's contract..it'd be nearly impossible to send out enough salary to match curry's contract too...
unless maybe they are 2 separate trades, with us absorbing curry's salary with the TPE.. not sure if that's even legal tho, 2 teams doing 2 trades with each other on same day, and purposely trying to do them as 2 separate deals instead of 1 in order to get past the rules..

I'm not trading a 25-year-old stud who was undoubtably our best player in the NBA Finals.

Raps the sneaky threat here.

Yikes.
