“Brown
Tatum
Williams
Multiple 1st Picks”

That seems like an overpay, even for KD

Would 8 1st round picks (plus a couple of swaps) make it work?

Jaylen, Theis, Nesmith, 3 firsts, 1 swap.

That is awful for us, just awful. I'd be hard pressed liking Brown for kd straight up, let alone all those picks

How about:

Jaylen who will probably leave in two years, Theis who is a negative asset, Nesmith who is nobody important, 3 late firsts, 1 swap they won't take advantage of.

We would make this deal for sure.

And possibly Timelord instead of Theis.

Yikes.

Miami has nothing the Nets want.

The Suns just supermaxed Booker and now he can't be traded. And the Nets do not want Ayton. And Bridges doesn't get you KD.

I really don't see KD going to either of those teams.

The Brooklyn Nets can have all our picks and any player not named Jaylen Brown or Jayson Tatum for a malcontent, 34-year-old Kevin Durant.

I'm not trading a 25-year-old stud who was undoubtably our best player in the NBA Finals.

Isn't KD signed for another 4 years tho? If it's "2 years of Brown (and maybe more)" vs. "4 years of guaranteed KD" then I think it's hard to say no to the trade. Yeah Brown can re-sign with us but it's also just as possible that he doesn't.

KD is gonna slow down, he has already accrued more and more injuries. His skillet will age well, but we already just wrecked him once in the playoffs

if we get KD, there ain't gonna be any other players coming to boston in the package.

we are already have to send out a TON of salary just to match KD's contract..it'd be nearly impossible to send out enough salary to match curry's contract too...

unless maybe they are 2 separate trades, with us absorbing curry's salary with the TPE.. not sure if that's even legal tho, 2 teams doing 2 trades with each other on same day, and purposely trying to do them as 2 separate deals instead of 1 in order to get past the rules..

JB, White, Theis for KD, Seth works.

I think it’s kind of weird that it’s been radio silence with KD trade rumors.

Smart / Williams / theis / Nesimith and a bunch of picks isn’t a bad haul for the nets, I would accept it if I were them.

They can get back at Kyrie too by sending Durant to Boston where he will be showered in love

:P

This. Picks for KD, not the Jays

Pels could offer Ingram or Zion.

Cave and I have been at odds about Timelord's trade value before....personally, I'd rather include White than Rob, I mean, Rob makes quick decisions with the ball too.
