Have the Celtics been in this position before? I'm a relatively new fan (old fan but haven't followed the team closely until about 4 years ago) so I have no idea.

Does not matter DAL now probably makes playoffs, BRK pick is far more important. Really hope PHO can win onother one or two. I think they need two, becuase still we must know BRK will probably play WAS and TOR benches last 2 games.
Now if we go back to DAL pick, our new best case scenario is now 15th pick. I still think UTA beats DAL at home pretty easily, so that would give DAL max. 43 wins. If they finish with 43 we need other teams who are just infront of them to win 44. How are remaining teams schedules:
20. POR 43 (MIN, DEN) will win one
19. IND 42 (@TOR, BRK, NY, @MIL) should win 2
18. DET 42 (WAS, MIA, @CLE) one game, doubt 2 are possible
17. MEM 42 (@DAL, GSW, @LAC, @GSW) do not see them winning 2 games
16. UTA 39 (LAC, @DEN, DAL, @LAL) could win all 4, but thta still puts them only on 43 wins
So DAL pick can be anywhere from 15th to 18-19th..not as good we hoped for, but...BRK pick is far more important!!!

Len Bias in 86 draft after we won the championship.

I don't the see the Nets beating the Wizards especially with Brool Lopez and Thaddeus Young out. They're that bad. I Also don't see them beating the Raptors. The Nets are a bad team. Brook Lopez saved them from giving the Celtics a Top 2 pick.

I think the wizards game goes either way but the raptors will be playing guys 8-15 the whole time so I see the nets winning that game.

Plus if DET would lose tonight and Tuesday against MIA...WAS would be in play also on Wednesday when they play ATL at home...so it could have big implications also on BOS seeding.
We need WAS win tonight!!!
