Heaven forbid I don't want to be an absolute garbage team with a GM whose vision revolves around keeping his fingers crossed for the forseeable future
Well, not mad, but one assumes that by calling tanking "loser ****", you were in favor of the alternative.
I could be wrong about that. Maybe you wanted them to give up future assets to make a run for the 6th seed this year?
This is just a nightmare scenario to me.
I get it, Ainge had to go all in after trading Rondo. If there were impactful players available Ainge would have certainly tried to get them if it made sense. None were available.
This is going to be a long and painful rebuild. As long as it doesn't take another 20 years I can't really complain much.
I think we will be cooking by the summer of 2016. We have flexibility and assets up the yay, have collected an arsenal of assets. Many are lottery tickets, but with the sheer number of them, several should pan out (Thanks, Billy King).
And we have the ability to go *completely* over the top in any trade market that arises. In fact, we can do that twice while still retaining a ton of our prospects and assets (something that previously proved crucial when we were able to trade for Ray and KG while retaining Rondo, Perk and TA).
