For freaking real! Don't tell us 830 if it isn't until 850.

Good thing about the late start time is I'll be ready for popcorn once the game starts and it's not right after dinner. Also winning in Dallas only 1 time zone away instead of the nearly 11pm start times for true west coast teams will be nice.

Mavs defensive scheme reminds me of those bud ran with the bucks collapse the paint and leave some 3s. No Giannis or Brooke and we always seemed to cook them anyway.

I wanna see Tatum get to the basket early starting at the rim and moving out works best for him.

They have not a soul over there that can’t stay in front of Jaylen he should he be able to walk to the basket all night and he needs to be ready to kick the ball and start the rotations.

To me the key in this series is Al & KP hitting their open 3s. Dallas has had success protecting the paint with Gafford/Lively so its critical to pull them to the perimeter to allow easier drives for the Jays.

You looking at the single number one reason I hated our coach at that time.. it's like he had no understanding on how spacing can affect our star players.. and there was definitely good spacers on the roster..

But he knew how to yell at our players so there's that...

I live about an hour north of Houston. 3 hours from Dallas. Toying with the idea of getting tickets for game 4. So hard to justify $1k+ on tickets.

Do like I did vs. the Pacers... Wait until we win games 1-3, then the day before game 4 check the prices lol. I sat 10 rows behind Donnie Wahlberg and taking my dad and my oldest son it was only $642 for all 3. Now Finals will be more expensive than ECF but when Pacers first released tickets it was about $1,100 per and in the same area (2-3 rows closer, but also directly behind the basket so not as good of a view), so similar to prices you're describing now.

I hope the team has heard all of the doubt their way so far. Then I hope they shut off all media after they blowout the Mavs tonight so they don't lose game 2 and keep their edge.

The offense and spacing was the main thing, but Udoka's complete lack of defensive adjustments on Stephen Curry was simply awful.

They chased the trendy team that got hot late in the season over the team that had dominated all year, just like they're doing now. Their writers are also favoring the Mavs, 9 to 8.

I think we lost that series because
1. Rob hurt his knee in March and still was +30 over the series on one leg.
2. JT just had such a bad shooting series from two point range.
3. Insane turnover games from Marcus and JB and JT.
4. We had major depth problems. Six roster spots went to Stauskus, Nesmith, Kornet, Hauser, Fitts, & Morgan. Who were not able to provide 1 competitive Finals minute between them. And our main bench pieces were PP, Theis, DWhite and Grant. 2024 DWhite is a way different better player than 2022 and Grant Williams averaged 4pts/2rebs in the series.

If Rob could been healthy and played 40 minutes a game, we’d have won the series even with all that. Rob was such a beast, even on one leg.

Ancient history now tho boys…

Was actually looking at the numbers on that series and White was an extreme negative on the court that series.

Game 1: +25
Game 2: -17
Game 3: -12
Game 4: -19
Game 5: -13
Game 6: -26

That is absurd.

Wonder if moving Horford back to the bench ends up being the domino that unlocks Hauser's offensive game again. Maybe having the spacing that was lost with Kornet/Tillman ends up being the difference maker?
