“Brown
Tatum
Williams
Multiple 1st Picks”
That seems like an overpay, even for KD
Would 8 1st round picks (plus a couple of swaps) make it work?
Darthlukey wrote:KamikazeK wrote:Darthlukey wrote:That is awful for us, just awful. I'd be hard pressed liking Brown for kd straight up, let alone all those picks
Isn't KD signed for another 4 years tho? If it's "2 years of Brown (and maybe more)" vs. "4 years of guaranteed KD" then I think it's hard to say no to the trade. Yeah Brown can re-sign with us but it's also just as possible that he doesn't.
KD is gonna slow down, he has already accrued more and more injuries. His skillet will age well, but we already just wrecked him once in the playoffs

The Suns just supermaxed Booker and now he can't be traded. And the Nets do not want Ayton. And Bridges doesn't get you KD.
I really don't see KD going to either of those teams.
Raps the sneaky threat here.

And possibly Timelord instead of Theis.
Yikes.
Cave and I have been at odds about Timelord's trade value before....personally, I'd rather include White than Rob, I mean, Rob makes quick decisions with the ball too.

Jaylen for KD is arguable. KD's a top 25 ever, but getting up in age and slightly built for an NBA player. Adding Rob Williams is too much for a guy who may have 1 great season left given his age and frame.

I'm not trading a 25-year-old stud who was undoubtably our best player in the NBA Finals.
This. Picks for KD, not the Jays

But 4 years of KD or 2 years of Jaylen who might want out this time next year.
