“Brown
Tatum
Williams
Multiple 1st Picks”

That seems like an overpay, even for KD

Would 8 1st round picks (plus a couple of swaps) make it work?

Minimum of 10 along with JT giving up Deuce.

Isn't KD signed for another 4 years tho? If it's "2 years of Brown (and maybe more)" vs. "4 years of guaranteed KD" then I think it's hard to say no to the trade. Yeah Brown can re-sign with us but it's also just as possible that he doesn't.

KD is gonna slow down, he has already accrued more and more injuries. His skillet will age well, but we already just wrecked him once in the playoffs

I would argue that if other teams do to KD what we did while he's playing for Boston, then Tatum will score 50 a game.

The Suns just supermaxed Booker and now he can't be traded. And the Nets do not want Ayton. And Bridges doesn't get you KD.

I really don't see KD going to either of those teams.

Raps the sneaky threat here.

If they make Barnes available as part of the package, that's compelling.

The most I would get give up is Brown some picks and fillers. I’m not an expert when it comes to cap situation but I’m not including any of Timelord or smart to the deal. Good luck finding a better offer than a 25 year old who was our best player in the finals and only getting better. There’s only a few players I would trade brown for given his age and contract and KD would be one of them even though I would cry and throw up seeing him leave. The nets can have half the Celtics roster and multiple picks if the Celtics offered everyone but the Jays.

I'm not saying these players are amazing but how in the hell is Lakers signing so many of them with no money? Also, it's shat that they can still sign folks with no problem after keeping the same team that missed the playoffs! People love LA man.

Yikes.

Cave and I have been at odds about Timelord's trade value before....personally, I'd rather include White than Rob, I mean, Rob makes quick decisions with the ball too.

Jaylen for KD is arguable. KD's a top 25 ever, but getting up in age and slightly built for an NBA player. Adding Rob Williams is too much for a guy who may have 1 great season left given his age and frame.

But 4 years of KD or 2 years of Jaylen who might want out this time next year.

It’s not the Jay’s that would hypothetically be on the table, it’s Jaylen. They are in much different categories when it comes to trade value.

The Nets will want win now players more than picks.

I'm not trading a 25-year-old stud who was undoubtably our best player in the NBA Finals.

This. Picks for KD, not the Jays

I endorse this also.

KD might request a trade by December 2022. This is Kyrie's good pal.

Brown is good. He's not a stud.

Love to see what kind of finals he would of had if the Warriors planned for him instead of Tatum.

Jaylen is a fine player but we're talking about extending our window (KD signed for four years instead of two, like Tatum) and locking down two top-10 players. This is a kill shot.
