17/5/3 on 5-9 shooting, 70% TS, 0 turnovers.
This series alone, he put us ahead at the line with 25 seconds or so left in game 1. Then Harden hit a ridiculous shot to win it for them. Game 3, Tatum hit multiple daggers to help put the game away. Game 4, Tatum hit a three to put us ahead with 38 seconds left. Then Harden, once again hit a huge shot.

I have no problem with anything Tatum does in crunch time. You win or lose with your best players. That's the problem I have with the Celtics. Celtics should be winning or losing with Tatum and Brown making or not making plays.
I love Marcus Smart but he finished 12th on the Celtics this season in field goal percentage. He shouldn't be getting the most shots in crunch time. It makes zero sense.

You keep saying Jaylen Brown is passive. Mazzulla has him standing in the corner while Tatum/Smart do their thing. That has nothing to do with being passive that is the coach saying we are going to rely on Tatum/Smart. Which is dumb.

everyone used to crush Lebron when he deferred at the end of games. Our stars need to demand the ball and take charge like IT4 and PP used to do... no excuses. We lack that "Mamba" mentality as a unit, and one of the few players willing to take the shot, shouldn't be in that position.

So how do you explain his shots being way down every quarter after the first? I don’t completely disagree about what you’re saying in crunch time, but there’s no way you watch the games and think Jaylen has been as aggressive in the second, third, and early in the fourth, as he has in the first.
They aren’t freezing him out for multiple quarters every game.

Marc Davis is the worst.
He's bad. But he's born, raised in chicago, lives in chicago. He called an awful game for us when we faced the bulls earlier this season, in chicago. I'm optimistic he might not be so terrible if we're not facing the bulls.
