Celtics need to right the Ship, after that Debacle last night.
That was the Worst Win, that I've Ever seen.

They need a Hauser upgrade,
more Brown than Tatum leadership,
if Tatum continues on with his laissez faire attitude in these games and shot mechanics,
make KP dominant in low post - give him more attempts than Tatum,
and seek spiritual solace with Brown.

Tatum really needs a coach that'll call him out. In one interview he praised Coach K for calling him a "soft bitch from St Louis" to get him going. I wish Joe would realize this. Smart probably filled this role from time to time, which I'm guessing is why Tatum has been so damn dreadful this year.

I wish I could be a DNP-rest for this one after the multiple coronaries I had last night but I guess I'll give it a go.

There is a difference between motivating an 18 year freshman than a 25 year old superstar.

No Horford or Porzingis probably. If both are out maybe Stevens starts like he did when this happened vs Orlando. Or Queta? Kornet?

Since Queta and Kornet are both available, I think Queta starts.

White | PP | Hauser | Brissett | Queta ??

Stagger PP/White and unleash Banton as ballhandler for bench lineups. No mention of G-League guys being recalled but Peterson can crack the Hospital Celtics rotation.

Celtics going too far with the Derrick White All-Star campaign. If 5 of our top 6 sit and we win, White is a lock for the ASG, right?

The stuff yall are saying about Tatum will get me banned! It doesn’t make sense but i can’t use the words to describe how nonsensical it is! He isn’t perfect but the stuff being said is not only laughable but absurd!

Tatum has led this team for years to solid heights at the age when players are still trying to make the playoffs for the first time! He comes to work any chance he can! He’s not overly boisterous but his work shows that he betters himself every season! He seems to be a great teammate because year after year the players around him are BETTER WITH HIM ON THE COURT!! Everything you guys are saying is based on feelings, i get that, my feelings can cloud my judgement of brown (others), but damn some of you beat me in wild thoughts!

I’ll say it again, if Tatum ever leaves, yall will really know what it’s really like not having a superstar! It’s not easy to do what Tatum has accomplished at his age, stop pretending like he’s not living up to something because he’s exceeding every step of the way!

He may not be doing everything we want but people will take half of what Tatum does consistently and some of you are acting like he’s a bum!!

Tatum's shot the three poorly for five games. What this tweet doesn't say is that's when he injured his ankle. If he's got a fault, it's not adjusting to what his body is telling him. Regardless the shot will come back when he heals up. For that reason, I hope he sits tonight.

Well he shot 33% on pull up threes the last game, so maybe he's on the upward swing of the U-shaped parabola.

My criticism of Tatum is based on Math. Joe likes Math. Joe approves of my criticism of Tatum.

It makes me grumpy how people seem to judge him only on his shooting/scoring. He's a much more valuable and complete player than that and even when his shots aren't falling he's doing more "other things" than anyone else.

Whole post game thread is angrily insulting him after a game where he went for 31/10/7/5, took over in the 3rd to get us back in the game, scored on the drive and basket that sent it to OT, and then late in OT he assisted on the White 3 and had the big rebound and outlet to KP for the winning dunk.

I'm thinking maybe all the Jaylen fights we've had year over the last few years made people pick sides in this imaginary Jay battle, and so whenever JT misses shots it brings people out of the woodwork to complain about him like we've done with JB? Or people just don't like his face or something? I don't even get it lol.

It completely misses what's actually going on out there imo. I saw comments saying we won the game last night because we went away from JT. But we didn't go away from him. He had the ball in his hands and made the right plays and set up his teammates for almost all of the big baskets that got us the win. Not to mention his 5 steals and always-great defense.

TLDR: stop insulting my handsome son, you meanies!

Edit: for clarity I'm not saying he doesn't take a few bad shots per game etc and should be immune to criticism. I'm just saying some of the criticism is off base and completely over the top.

Why is everyone talking about White going off if Tatum, Brown, Holiday, Horford, and KP sit?

You all know that means it’s going to be the Pritchard show. PP is going to shatter Klay Thompson’s record of 24 three point attempts in a single game.

Agreed. He isn’t Trae Young, he contributes to winning even when his shots aren’t falling. He did that last night. In fact, despite an admittedly rough night shooting he still scored 31.
