Don't even know how to check if this is possible, but I've got to applaud the creativity.

I'd need a lot more than that if I'm giving up KD and Irving. Those picks would project something from 15-30 each year, which is a pretty meh return, especially for Durant.

Edit: as per above, applaud the creativity though.

A lot of the 1sts don't pay out until 2027 and 2029, no way to predict who will be good then. Getting Shaeden Sharpe, 2- 21 year old prospects in Little and THT, plus 4- 1sts is a heck of a haul for KD. Maybe still light? Maybe, but who's giving up more?

As for Irving, I consider him damaged goods. IMO, getting 3- 1sts for him is a gift, but others might view him differently. However, Cleveland sure didn't get a bigger haul when they dealt him.

Fair call, it's certainly an offer you give a lot of consideration.

Idk if I see him heading back to the bench long term at least.

Easier to imagine Lopez transitioning to more of a backup role, if not this season, then the next one after he returns on a dramatically smaller contract.

Now we definitely could use another true center in addition. But considering how cash conscious we’ve been elsewhere I suspect 3rd string center isn’t likely to get full tpmle kind of resources.

Bobby is not signed for next year (unless he picks up his option).

Wonder if Yoan Makoundou would sign a two way deal? I’d be tempted to convert Sandro’s deal to a regular contract if he would. Got to save a roster spot for Molinar though, love what I’m seeing from him. Have to assume we aren’t wasting a spot on resigning Nwora?

Jrue/Carter/Molinar
Allen/Wes/Hill
Middleton/Pat/Beauchamp
Giannis/Thanasis/Sandro
Lopez/Portis/?

On draft night someone tweeted that we had acquired the #55 pick. I think shams. But he ended up deleting it. We only got #58.

So, it depends on his contract situation. You can't buyout a player our and then sign him to a 2 way.

I doubt we resign Carter, despite what Horst said. It's just GM speak. If Bud thought he was too short for the playoffs this year, well, that's not going to change. Carter might get more than the minimum from someone else any ways.

I'm skeptical of Mamu can ever defend and rebound on an NBA level. I wouldn't convert his contract at this time.

Molinar was just signed to get him to the Herd. I do like that we'll finally have a bigger PG there.

Ah that makes sense. I didn’t research Yoan’s contract status, just assumed he had an out since he stayed in the draft as a projected second rounder. Dumb on his part to stay in and explains why nobody has signed him udfa

Agree on Mamu but if it’s converted to a deal that isn’t guaranteed then no real risk. Probably have to give him a portion gtd.

Also agree that Carter probably gets a better offer elsewhere but damn we are thin at guard. If Carter leaves we definitely need to hang onto Mo.

I think we'll add a guard either way. It's why Delon Wright makes a ton of sense for us. I think we'll be making some trades too.

Magic get: Grayson Allen
Thunder get: 2- 2nd round picks via Magic
Bucks get: Isaiah Roby, Jamychal Green

Portis/Roby/Green
Giannis/ Roby/ Green/Thanasis
Middleton/Patty C/MJB
Jrue/Seth Curry/ Luka Valdoza
Hart/Seth Curry/Wes

13 versatile players, and we still have the tMLE available. Also, the drop defense is dead, we can now switch or hedge. We also gain the length and agility to play zone, which is awesome versus Philly.

Bucks should get PJ Tucker back with the MLE.

Starters: Jrue, Middleton, PJ Tucker, Giannis, Brook
Bench: Hill, Vildoza, Grayson, Pat, Beauchamp, Manu, Portis
Backup: Besson, Rayjon Tucker, Thanasis

Not the sexiest roster but it has a lot of veteran experience for another run. Gives Vildoza, Beauchamp and Nwora a lot of Regular Season running time.

PG: Holiday.............Carter (Min).......Vildoza
SG: Matthews(Min)....Conny...............Beauchamp
SF: Midds...............Gay (Trade)........Thanisis
PF: Giannis.............Tucker (FA)........(Nwora QO)
C: Lopez................Portis (Re-sign)....Lopez (Min)

Sign:
Portis to a multi-year deal
Matthews, Carter, Robin Lopez to Minimum.
PJ Tucker to MLE
Nwora QO

Trade Allen and Hill to Jazz for Rudy Gay, Azubuike(Waive) and some 2nds

We don't have the MLE, only the smaller tax MLE.

We should add someone who can guard Tatum. Tucker showed in the playoffs that he's not that guy.

I wish there was some rumors about potential targets or trades. The doldrums of summer.

I’m hopeful Beauchamp can be that guy by playoff time. That 7’1” wingspan is a great start.

We should be opportunistic with this Irving/KD situation. There may be players available that otherwise wouldn't be because they're needed for matching.
