That Dipo tweet probably has nothing do with basketball

Looking at some cap figure dynamics and it looks like we will have the best bang for your buck backcourt in the league. Looking at some of these cap figures and how we most likely go about filling the rest of the roster and how to allocate the funds working within the budgeted tax structure of Arison.

C Bam Adebayo 30.3 C Omer Yurtseven 1.7 C Orlando Robinson(2 way)
PF PJ Tucker(Early bird 3 year deal 8.9) PF Duncan Robinson (16 million to trade for upgrade to starter or bench) PF Nikola Jokic
SF Jimmy Butler 37.6 SF Caleb Martin(Partial MLE 4-6 mill annual) SF Haywood Highsmith 1.7
SG Tyler Herro 5.9 SG Max Strus 1.8
PG Kyle Lowry 28.3 PG Gabe Vincent 1.8

We cannot go into next year with Duncan coming off the bench and risking any combinations of Robinson/Herro or Strus lineups. Martin is a beast defensively so he compliments Herro and Strus well. It's imperative for this team to use Robinson's contract to upgrade a position of need. Hoping that 2023 1st holds some weight in trade talks cause were going to need it.

That was fantastic. Might have nothing at all to do with why he tweeted that, but fantastic nonetheless.

I think wall would want a starting position, to get some respect put back on his name

The Clippers can give him a starting position, they don't have a PG.

The Dipo thing speaks volume if its true. Dude turned down a huge contract to come down here, he thought we would repay that. Now it seems like he's going to the wolves. We have his bird right, so we can sign him to any contract yet are choosing to not pay him. We don't kid about not paying the tax lol.

Where the **** are y’all seeing that he’s leaving? Just because he posted something with the wolves logo? Or is there legitimate info about Dipo leaving?

Haha that 2010 year was the ultimate World Ending depressive FA summer prior to July 1st, Wade gone to Chicago, Riley gone back to LA to retire, Lebron playing the Heat for a Wade/Chicago union, leftover players being mentioned as the consolation price lol. Then the clouds were magically pushed away with the ultimate rays of sunshine that left the rest of the basketball cities burning and crying.

Nah not even close lol.

It's not bad to be realistic at all, we have seen this franchise fails a lot in free agency.

If we are not getting a whale, I hope one or two scenarios below happen:

1. Sign a back up center (Dwight Howard or Robin Lopez) for the minimum - Dwight would be a good mentor to GodYurt and Bambini.
2. Retain Caleb Martin at all cost.
3. I'm not sure how much they will cost but we should look to sign Thaddeus Young or Bobby Portis at the 4 if PJ bolts. (Younger and both Taller)
4. A wing replacement for Dipo like Kyle Anderson, Ben Mclemore, or Rodney Hood.

C Bam/Yurt/Howard
PF Young/Highsmith
SF Butler/Martin/Robinson
SG Strus/Herro/Anderson
PG Lowry/Vincent

We still have a veteran group with a mix of young and old talents.
Still a top 3 team in the east and will again depend on Health if we would make a deep run. I'd be fine with this lineup moving forward and hope for the best.

Spoiler:
No Melo and Millsap or we RIOT

Much like we revived Tucker’s value I think we could do the same with Thaddy Young. I would prefer having both of the on the team subbing in for one another. Young would be a way better option then the rumored Melo or Millsap. As for Portis I don’t think he has any interest in coming here after passing on him a couple of times.

Should still be one of our priorities but the kid is a Kentucky Wildcat which Pat Riley loves.

And if no whale is available (Mitchell, Myrie or Beal) I'd be willing to bet he plays in October on a Heat uniform.

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

The Raptors traded for him and unlike us, are not adverse to spend money. It would be easier to get PJ back to be honest.

I'd be fine with that too.

Lowry + Herro would be overpaying especially if we are not sure which Kyrie Irving would be receiving. Lowry and Herro are still professionals who honored and played our games last year.

Offer Kyle and Yurt plus picks.
