LeBron has more titles without the Heat than the Heat have without LeBron.. lol
well ya... he did build another superteam in cle, than tampered and did a backdoor deal to steal AD from pelicans. easy to win titles building superteams, try doing what giannis did , and win a "legit" title for once. oh right he tried, and got humbled by the spurs.
So when he won with Miami with a super team, it was the Heat culture teaching him, but when he won in other places it was because his team was very good.

it was the culture and talent, miami is the only place lebron has had a back - to - back title. no where else. theres a reason for that.

the heat were in the top5 in 2pt fg%
top10 in 3pt%
top5 in defense
the miami culture prevented lebron from running rough shod over that team. he wanted spolstra out, riley backed eric
regardless he was STILL lucky with both rings. one against the youngest team since blazers '77 and a lucky win over sas who wiped them off the face of the earth the next year

lol since when is a 7 game series considered luck? ya, miami lost the next year, but thats because Dwades kneed were shot to ****...wade didnt have much left at that point.. which is why lbj left for cle where they were stacked with assets and talent.
I understand the sentiment, especially on the step back bigger picture. However, I feel like it relieves Kyrie of any accountability. Kyrie is not absolved of blame, just because the Nets tried something different than the Cavs and Celtics.Homer38 wrote:

The belief among both league and player circles is that Irving is gone and the Seven-Eleven Era is over before it ever began. Irving only appeared in 103 regular-season games in Brooklyn, a three-year run ravaged in Year 1 by a nagging shoulder injury; in Year 2 due to absences for personal reasons; and in Year 3 due to Irving’s unwillingness to get vaccinated against COVID-19 in a city that didn’t create a professional athlete exemption in its vaccine mandate until weeks before the NBA playoffs began.
The Nets, as the Daily News reported in late May, have been unwilling to give Irving a long-term contract extension with significant financial guarantees. They do not believe Irving is committed to doing what it takes to be on the floor every game for his teammates.
