Transformative? Do you mean it'll get you 2nd, 3rd or 4th?

With what money......

Koundé is the surest deal I have for Chelsea this summer. He wants to come, and the club wants him. It'll get across the line.

Have you not seen Barcelona have approved certain financial levers?

Additionally, it sounds as if Frenkie de Jong will be sold, though the club is targeting Manchester City's Bernardo Silva with said outlay.

Update. Everything is in frenzy.

Some reports state that Koundé might have actually been a Granovskaia / board target - and now that they've done a board swap, that the signing of Koundé isn't priority anymore.

Although Fab hints that Koundé could still be a possibility.

Also, a lot on De Ligt to Chelsea recently

I see that Chelsea have at last seen the light an want to throw Werner into a player and cash swap deal for deLigt. If Juventus have any sense it'll be an extra 30m if they have to take Werner.

Deals involving player swaps rarely happen.

If de Ligt ends up at Chelsea, it will be for a higher fee than the tweet stated.

Wow.

I can only chuckle at the frequency in which you update your list. I remember seeing Koundé, Gvardiol, and Koulibaly on it earlier.

I could be wrong, but it seems only the Sterling rumor has real legs.

Gvardiol is staying at Leipzig because he wants confirmed playing time to secure his spot for the World Cup, which makes complete sense. The updates on him about a month prior - was that Tuchel was extremely interested and was contacting back and forth with RBL to get updates on his medicals and the knee (?) injury he just suffered. I think that's a potential 2023 target.

Sterling seems essentially done and I have a hunch that Dembélé is too, they're just waiting until he's officially out of contract (end of the month) to announce it.

Fab said that Chelsea plan to sign two CB's this summer, I'm assuming De Ligt is one in some Werner + cash swap deal.

The rest, I'm just playing around with w.r.t Koundé / SMS / Koulibaly / Felix

De Ligt is closer than what's been reported, Dembele has agreed to join Chelsea but the last I heard is that the agreement is only verbal and Barca want to try to convince him last min.

I think MDL and Sterling are the most likely signings within the next two weeks.

I reaaaally like the idea of De Ligt getting tutored by Thiago Silva for at least a year as he continues growing into the player he could one day be.
